Just because Coachella has passed doesn’t mean you can’t still dress in tribal prints. This trend borrows patterns and ideas from cultures far and wide and subtly works them through very Western garments. Everyone from Rihanna to Kim Kardashian is adding a touch of tribal to their wardrobe. These ethnic patterns are here to stay, and these celebs know how to wear them.

Lucy Hale is KILLING in this black, white and yellow tribal print skirt, paired with a flowing white top with a plunging neckline. This girl knows how to show up to a Nylon event!

If anyone knows how to work a tribal print, it’s Beyonce! Even with Baby Blue on board she is rocking this dress like she just ran out of the rainforest.

Check out Ashley Tisdale in this GORGEOUS tribal print mini-dress. She looks fresh and feminine in this cool geometric design.

With Mother’s Day this Sunday we have nothing to worry about because mom is always the easiest to buy for, right? WRONG! By now we all get mom the same thing every year; flowers, candy, store-bought cards… the list goes on. This year it’s time to step it up! Mom is worth so much more than a bouquet of colored leaves that sprung out of dirt.

Give your mom a day of relaxation with a spa package. Moms work hard, especially if being a mother and housekeeper isn’t their only job. Sometimes she just needs a day away from it all. Look up your local day spa or masseuse and ask about Mother’s Day packages. Most of the time they’ll run a special. And what says I love you more than a mani, pedi, facial or hot stone massage? NOTHING!

If mom has a sweet tooth, instead of buying her chocolates whip her up a batch of Mother’s Day cupcakes. If you have no culinary skills or lack creativity, swing by your local bakery. Surely they can throw something cute together.

If you’re determined to take the card route then you’re still in luck! The Hallmark card is now totally customizable. Add your fave pics to a personalized version for your mom or grandma. (Hallmark Trifold Card, $4.49, hallmark.com)

We all know that moms do love flowers (stereotypical, but true). Just because you’re not buying a bouquet of blossoms doesn’t mean you can’t wear them. And hey, floral is the way to go this spring.

With lace being a predominant fabric in fashion this spring and Stagecoach right around the corner, this is the perfect time to round up your cowboy attire and head to the rodeo. For those unfamiliar with Stagecoach, it’s an outdoor country music festival held in Indio, California (on the same grounds as Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival). It brings in around 55,000 attendees over the course of the weekend. With most of the crowd sporting their finest relevant outfits, Stagecoach (much like Coachella) is a three day music and fashion extravaganza!

You may not be attending the festival this weekend, but it doesn’t mean you can’t dress like a southern belle! Creamy lace garments, paired with pretty florals or denims, are a great way to sustain a “country strong” look this season. Toss on a brown belt and some short cowboy boots and you’ll be Stagecoach ready in no time!

Lace doesn’t always have to be white to sustain a delicate southern look. This As U Wish Tiered Lace Dress in jade green from Nordstrom.com is a great way to stay looking fresh and current. While the mercury in your thermometer may be rising as each day passes, chambray is a light and airy alternative to denim. Check out this As U Wish Belted Chambray Shirt Dress from Dillards.com!

It’s that time of year again, the weather is getting warmer, the flowers are blooming, and we’re buying tickets for our favorite festivals. Whether you’re on the east coast or the west coast or somewhere in between, there are a ton of fun festivals coming up and we’ve put together a few tips and tricks for you to have the best time ever!

We love this fun As U Wish dress and think it would be perfect for festivals! (You can get it here!) We’ve accessorized with a great across-body purse that can fit all your festival essentials and floral tennis shoes perfect for dancing the day away. Finish with great sunglasses and a trendy bracelet and you’re set to go!

Having a purse that doesn’t get in the way of your dancing is key and we highly recommend bringing a purse that you can wear across your body. We picked one that can fit your phone, a small wallet, a disposable camera, chapstick, travel sized sunscreen (protect your skin ladies!) and a snack. Bring an empty water bottle with a hook top (you can attach it to your purse strap!) because most festivals have water stations. Be sure to fill up often because staying hydrated at festivals is very important!
